Shine Peacock is a watercolor painting of multiple peacocks. The thing that inspires me the most about this animal is its colors. This amazing color with a mix between ultramarine blue and emerald green is fascinating. When this bird starts to move and the sunlight hits its neck and feathers I can’t help myself but watching.
Because of those two things the fascination to create a painting with this subject stays.
With this painting I also used shimmering paint and the paint is just visible with movement, like the animal itself when it moves.
